BY INVITATION ONLY: Breakfast Briefing: Is your organisation fit for a complex and uncertain future? Four essential tests

12 July 2017, 8:30
RUSI Whitehall
In the first of a series of breakfast briefings, a panel led by Dr Randolph Kent, Director, Futures Project, RUSI, will explore the implications of an atomised world, and outline four essential tests for participants to determine if their organisations will be fit for an ever more complex and uncertain future.

Over the next two decades, profound changes in political and societal structures, accelerated by transformative technologies, will require an organisation to be fit for a different kind of future. The speed and dimensions of such changes are increasingly evident; their full implications too often ignored and ways to meet the challenges they present too rarely understood.

In this briefing, panellists will consider why organisations will have to increasingly adapt to different forms of connectivity and highly distributed, networked and self-empowering consumers, supply chains and stakeholders.

Confirmed contributers include:

  • Dr Randolph Kent, Director, Futures Project, RUSI

  • Anab Jain, Designer, Futurist, Filmmaker and Writer

  • Dr Ali Hossaini, Visiting Research Fellow, Department of Informatics, King’s College London and Associate of Lord Cultural Resources, Toronto, Canada
