In addressing Georgia's stance on NATO and the EU, David Bakradze will discuss the role of strategic communications in the build up to the 2016 NATO Summit. 

The upcoming NATO Summit in Warsaw carries particular significance for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration. It offers an opportunity to consider Georgia's contribution to translatlantic security and discuss the possibilities of full NATO membership.

RUSI is pleased to host David Bakradze, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, who will discuss Georgia's expectations for the Summit in more detail. He will in particular touch on the role of strategic communications in the EU and NATO.

David Bakradze is State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Between April 2012 and November 2014 he was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Serbia. From 2008 to 2012 Mr Bakradze was serving as the Senior Counsellor of the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Finland and, before that, he was the Head of the First European Division in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

This event is free and open to all. Refreshments will be served from 1400-1430.
