This panel discussion will take stock of the way in which the varied imposition and removal of sanctions is affecting decision-making.

Brick Court Chambers and the Royal United Services Institute is delighted to invite you to a public panel discussion considering the challenges that sanctions pose to businesses.

As governments increasingly reach for sanctions as the tool of choice in international relations and as the global business community assesses how to balance investment opportunity against the risk of censure and fine, this panel discussion will take stock of the way in which the varied imposition and removal of sanctions is affecting decision-making.

Speakers will include representatives from the legal, business, financial and policymaking world.

  • Eytan J. Fisch, a counsel in the Financial Institutions Regulation and Enforcement Group at US law firm Skadden. He formerly held a number of roles in the US Treasury including Assistant Director for Policy in the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
