NATO Transformation

After a decade of turbulence in the international defence and security environment, NATO has embarked upon a radical process of transformation under the leadership of Lord Robertson of Port Ellen. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The launch of the Rapid Response Force and Supreme Allied Command Transformation during 2003 ensures that the Secretary General’s legacy will be a formidable one when he stands down in December.

This conference will bring together ministers and senior commanders from across the alliance to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing NATO in the 21st century. Speakers include:
