Queen and Country

The act of remembrance and honouring our service personnel is important to help understand the realities of war. Rolling 24 hour television news can bring the frontline closer to the individual than ever before, but in our modern society are we becoming desensitised?

Queen and Country is a stirring installation which questions the traditional exercise of remembrance, but what is the most appropriate way to honour our service personnel in the twenty-first century? RUSI is pleased to host this installation and discussion on commemoration in the modern age; a topic that is both important and intellectually challenging.
