UK-South Asia: Reinvigorating the Ties

India is the second largest investor in the UK, while the UK remains the fourth largest in India. Cultural and familial ties also ensure that there are strong links between the two countries. An effective 'special relationship' with India should nevertheless factor in the needs and opportunities of South Asia as a whole.
