Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed close security co-operation since the 1970s. The kingdom faces increasing strategic vulnerability, as Iran touts its nuclear aspirations and relations with the US deteriorate. Could a military understanding with Pakistan give it the capabilities it needs in the face of regional threats?
