EU-China Relations: On the Mend at Last?

The relationship between the European Union and China is an important one. China’s trade with the EU outstrips its trade with the US, and both China and the EU are keen on playing important roles on the world stage – quite a few Europeans are attracted to the idea of counter-balancing the US. But the link between Europe and China is not in good shape, and neither are the prospects favourable.
