Professor Trevor Taylor joins RUSI

Professor Trevor TaylorRUSI is pleased to announce that Professor Trevor Taylor has been appointed Professorial Research Fellow in Defence Management. He will be joining RUSI from 9 March. Professor Taylor is a leading expert on defence acquisition and the management of defence capabilities.

Professor Taylor's appointment will augment the Institute's work on United Kingdom Defence Policy as well as giving it particular high level expertise in defence management issues. He will analyse, in particular, contemporary issues of defence equipment procurement, drawing upon existing work in that area in the Military Sciences Department.

Professor Taylor comes to RUSI from Cranfield University where he was head of the Department of Defence Management and Security Analysis and subsequently head of the Centre for Defence Management and Leadership. Professor Taylor previously served as Chairmain of the British International Studies Association and head of the International Security Programme at Chatham House.
