Elizabeth Pearson

Position: Consulting Fellow

Elizabeth Pearson produces the RUSI Analysis Podcast, and is a freelance journalist with more than fifteen years experience in radio reporting, production and feature-making, much of it for the BBC. Her background is in news journalism, where she started out in local radio, before moving to the BBC's Radio Newsroom, producing bulletins for Radios Two, Three, Four and Five Live, and then specialising in international news as a Five Live producer.

She is a regular contributor of short features to BBC Radio Four programmes Woman's Hour and Making History, and an occasional producer at Saturday Live.

 

Elizabeth has produced five half hour-documentaries for the BBC, including a report on the harassment of schoolgirls in Tanzania for the BBC World Service, and a programme on the problem of abuse in teenage relationships in the UK, (Teenage Kicks for BBC Radio Four).

With bases in both London and Bristol, Elizabeth also works in media training and web audio, and is currently studying a part-time MA in International Conflict Studies at King's College London.
